Prof. Dr. Jagatheesan Alagesan, MPT(Pediatrics), MSc(Psy), MSc(Yoga), MPhil, PhD, CHPE, FIAP, is currently serving as Professor and Principal at Saveetha College of Physiotherapy, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai. He has 20 Years of Academic and Research Experience. He has publishedmore than100 papers in peer reviewed international journals, presented 8research papers in conferences and organized more than 80 conferences/workshops/seminars. He was key note speaker in 23conferences and webinars and published 7books and book chapters in physiotherapy. He is recipient of many awards including the IAP Oration Award and Fellowship Award by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists. He is also serving as PhD thesis reviewer in many universities. His areas of interest are physiotherapy, yoga, health education and psychology.
