Dr. Naorem Sanatomba Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Manipuri, Manipur University had qualified his Master of Arts in Manipuri from Manipur University, Imphal, Manipur. He got first class first Gold Medallist with new record of mark and had cleared UGC-JRF for continuation in research work. He had been conferred Doctor of Philosophy Degree by Manipur University. He has completed 14 years as faculty of Manipur University.

Beyond the core of the Subject area, he has been experiencing as a Jury for conferring Sahitya Academy Award, Manipur State Award for Literature. He is engaged in Transliteration of rare Manipuri Books in Meetei Script by the Govt. of Manipur.

He has been engaged in many administrative and academic pools in Manipur University like Departmental Coordinator- NAAC, UGC, Assistant Proctor of the University, Security Officer of the University, Chairman Go-Green University Campus, Member of Board of Studies, School of Humanities.

Dr.Naorem Sanatomba Singh had published 6 International, 10 National and many state level Research Papers in reputed Journals and had written books - 1 Poetry, 1 Short Story and 3 Critical Essays. He has presented many Seminar Papers, Symposia in the national and State level arena and also participated workshops, Webinars, conferences etc.  He is a popular Panelist in Manipuri TV Channels. He has been invited as dignitaries in many reputed function in Manipur.
