Dr. Nitashree Barman is Assistant Professor and Former Head in the Department of Accountancy at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya (a Government Model College), Tulungia, Bongaigaon, Assam. She earned an M.Com. degree with a Gold Medal in 2010 and completed her Ph.D. from the Department of Commerce of Assam University in 2016. She qualified NE-SLET in 2010 and UGC-NET in 2012. Dr. Barman has presented over 39 research papers at national and international seminars/conferences and has authored more than 33 research papers published in esteemed journals and edited books. She has 4 edited books to her credit. She has received the best paper award in two national and two international conferences.  Currently, she serves as the Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya, Tulungia.
