Dr. Aparajita Roy is presently engaged as Principal Shift I of Institute of Management Study, affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, WB. She has been working with this institution since its inception in 2006. Having completed her graduation from Lady Brabourne College with English (Hons), Dr. Roy has subsequently completed her MBA in Marketing and Human Resource Management from Visva Bharti University followed by M.Phil and then Doctor of Business Administration from Lincoln University College, Malaysia and PhD in Management from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. She has to credit her several research papers published in various national and international journals of repute. Her research areas are Retail Management, Consumer Behaviour and Advertising. Dr. Roy is a member of the All-India Management Association and Indian Benevolent Research Foundation. She has been awarded the Young Researcher Award in 2020 and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award for Teaching Excellence in 2023. Dr. Roy takes a keen interest in reading, painting and travelling.
