AN IN-DEPTH STUDY ON CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF SELECTED CEMENT UNITS IN GUJARAT

The study has been divided in to six chapters. The first chapter explains conceptual framework of corporate social responsibility and present picture of CSR in India. The second chapter is on review of literature in which past studies by different researchers on CSR has been covered. The third chapter covers growth and prospect of cement industry in Gujarat. The fourth chapter dwells on research design, objectives of the study, hypotheses of the study, sampling design used, data types and its sources, significance as well as limitations of the study. The fifth chapter includes analysis of data and its interpretation. And final chapter presents major findings of the study, recommendations and conclusion.
