Dr. Mandal presently holds the position of an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Education, Bankura University, Bankura, West Bengal, India. Before that, Dr. Mandal was a Full-Time Assistant Professor in Education (P.G. Section) at Sevayatan Sikshan Mahavidyalaya (Govt. Sponsored), Jhargram, West Bengal, India, from November, 2013 to August, 2015. Dr. Mandal has research interests on professional issues of teachers and teacher education, present social and psychological problems, modern technological advancements and changing paradigm of education system, sociological aspects etc. Dr. Mandal has published more than 30 research articles in various reputed National and International Journals (ISSN) and Edited Book Volumes (ISBN). Dr. Mandal presented many research papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences within state and outside of the state. Dr. Mandal is presently supervising 4(Four) PhD Students. Dr. Mandal has guided nearly 37 Masters Degree Level students for their dissertation work so far. Dr. Mandal as a Convener has successfully organized a National Level Webinar on “National Education Policy - 2020 in the light of School Education and Teacher Education” on 9th September, 2020 in the Department of Education, Bankura University. Dr. Mandal delivered lectures on different educational topics at various Colleges like Sitaram Mahato Memorial College in Purulia, Arsha College in Purulia, Moyna College in Purba Medinipur, Siddhinath Mahavidyalaya in Purba Medinipur, Deptt. of Education, University of Kalyani, Sankrail Anil Biswas Smriti Mahavidyalaya, Hijili College, Bamanpukur Humaiun Kabir College, Government General Degree College, Narayangarh, Saldiha College. Dr. Mandal has performed many academic and administrative activities like Moderator, External Examiner, Head Examiner, Paper Setter, Interviewer in various universities. Dr. Mandal performed three times as an External Moderator in the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), Govt. of West Bengal.
